Harvest Day 5

Slower day in some ways which allowed for a bit of time for things to sink in. A couple of introductory meetings. Took some time with Kirk looking at ministry audits designed to examine and evaluate how ministry is progressing in the church and looking over small group curriculum stuff. Had some time with the worship director looking at the qualifications for a worship leader and thinking through how to best establish a vibrant worship ministry. Tonight was Peak Performance, part of the assimilation process at Harvest. Tonight was a presentation on the Walk aspect of Worship, Walk, Work particularly focusing on Bible, Prayer, Evangelism and small groups.

Alison and the kids had fun going to the local library which was brilliant and was more like a childrens' activity centre. They spent a bit of time in the Harvest building getting further acquainted with people there. Tomorrow she is going to a Bible study called 'Entrusted with a Child's Heart.'

I am beginning to fear the return of the pastoral belly. I've been out to lunch twice in two days and had fajitas today which I have been able to enjoy the flavour of repeatedly through the rest of the day. Mexican for lunch is more than my fragile Scottish constitution can handle.
