Harvest day... (I'm losing count- we'll call it 12)

Sorry for the slow-down on posting this week. It coincides with a step-up in intenisty here. The last couple of days have allowed me to spend good time with a number of the guys on staff here looking at small groups, compassion ministry, leadership and oversight and worship planning. Last night I was given the opportunity to be at the first 'open house' at a new church plant that is being formed in Palos about an hour south of here. The open house is an opportunity for people to hear about the church plant for he first time in order for them to decide if they wish to invest their lives, time, energy and wealth in it.

We are still hugely inspired by what we see and by the people we meet. Today I have to do a seven minute video for a Harvest pastor's forum and then I have a series of other meetings going on as well before we head out for dinner with a family who have invited us as a family for dinner. Alison and the kids are heading back to the entrusted with a child's heart course that they spent time at last week, and have been able to connect with a couple of the other wives and kids from the church.
