Harvest day 8

Pretty chilled out couple of days with family time the priority. The kids are now more acclimatised to the time zone although the scale and scope of things seems to be blowing their minds- they certainly know that something is different (and Katie is cutting her molars just now just to add to the fun). Matthew is now jabbering away and has come on heaps in his speech; the highlight being him standing in the foyer at Harvest last Sunday with the new Bible that Alison had bought, holding it aloft and shouting at the top of his voice like an old-style street preacher.

This weekend's services have again been very encouraging and their is much that we could immediately translate to Glasgow. The praise was less familiar as more of the songs came from teh Harvestsongs ministry. It wasn't a great hindrance though as the music was easy to follow and the words excellent and God-centred. The Bible teaching was excellent and you can check it out by clicking here and then clicking on the message on the drop box provided.

I've got tomorrow off so it will be more family activity before a week with a particular focus on small group ministry.
