Ok, time to get all retrospective. I thought it would be useful to highlight what I reckon are the ten best links from Resolve this year. Essentially the stuff posted on Resolve are things that I have read as I seek to keep my heart and mind right on matters of doctrine. I post it in the hope that it will benefit someone else and also to record profitable things I have read. This also helps in reinforcing the great work that the guys who bring God's Word to us at Resolve have done as we seek to link the themes from the conference with the posts on the blog. So here, in no particular order, are the articles and links that have impacted me and my thinking most significantly in 2007.
1. www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2003/augustweb-only/8-25-22.0.html
2. www.desiringgod.org/media/pdf/pastors_accountability_form.pdf
3. www.desiringgod.org/ResourceLibrary/MediaPlayer/2114/AudioExcerpt/
4. www.founders.org/FJ47/editorial_fr.html
5. http://purechurch.blogspot.com/2006/12/what-good-pastor-is-to-do-11.html
6. www.thegospelcoalition.org/vision.html
7. www.founders.org/FJ39/editorial.html
8. http://biblicalspirituality.org/quest.html
9. www.kaleochurch.com/article/Church-Leadership-Quiz
10. www.challies.com/media/The_Pastors_Priorities.pdf
And then in some particular order are my top-ten Websites/blogs of 2007. Thanks to all involved for your ministry to me over the past twelve months. Directly or indirectly you influence the content and burden of Resolve.
1. http://unashamedworkman.wordpress.com/ (Preached at Resolve and a regular source of encouragement; and he ministers in Scotland.)
2. www.sovereigngraceministries.org/ (check out the free audio in the store section!!)
3. www.monergism.com/ (Almost impossible to get to the bottom of how much amazing content there is here, a hugely helpful reference point throughout the year.)
4. http://psalm305.blogspot.com/ (Paul Schafer does a great job at sourcing and organising my listening for me!)
5. www.desiringgod.org/ (Got a difficult question? Who you gonna call?)
6. www.9marks.org/ (Hugely formative on thinking about the church, what it exists for and in what form.)
7. www.newattitude.org/ (Humble orthodoxy- just for that phrase and what it represents)
8. www.challies.com/ (Continues to set the standard in terms of general Christian blogging. Much worth with much breadth and no little depth + lots of handy links).
9. www.thegospelcoalition.org/ (Wonderful concept, brilliant ministry media resources; wish we had something similar here).
10. http://net.bible.org/bible.php (Just a brilliant Bible Study tool.)
Also, in case you wondered, I am not forgetting that Tuesday is Pastors day. This week I have posted a video featuring Al Mohler and RC Sproul on being seeker sensitive. It's available via the sidebar.
