Church that is Holiness Pursuing
We are called to be holiness pursuing, shaped by the character and conduct that reflects God and His glory rather than being shaped by the character and conduct of the culture around us. In Jesus' design for the church this holiness pursuit is both an individual and a community project. It is a community project as we are called to encourage one another, build one another up and spur one another on towards love and good deeds in recognition that as individuals and community we are set apart for the purposes of God in order that He might display His transforming power. So we are to pursue holiness which is an ongoing and increasing likeness to Jesus Christ in all that we do, with Godly sorrow (repentance) when we get it wrong and great joy when by God's grace at work in us there is a testimony of the transformation that is happening in us by the Holy Spirit for His glory.
