The Saturday Challenge- Illustrating doctrine part 1

As we think about doctrine in the local church it occurs to me that there is a great challenge in helping people to understand the nature of the truths that we rea talking about in as plain terms, language and pictures as possible. There are matters of definition which if we get them right help to preserve the meaning and value of those truths in the lives of the believer and not just for them but also for future generations.

So today we are going to initiate the Saturday Challenge. This will be an attempt on a weekly basis to try and provide a well for us to draw definitions and illustrations from as we try and share these truths. I still haven't worked out how many people read this blog so there is every potential that this idea might bomb but here we go anyway!
